Carol Dawn Willing 4/27/1945 - 9/25/2024
Wife of Bob Jarvis. Mother of Curt Willing and Crissy Lampton. Grandmother to Jordan and Taylor Lampton, Claire and Christian Willing. Sister of Lee ( Lynda ) Brooks and Alan ( Pauline) Brooks. Carol lived in Almont the majority of her life. She grew up on a farm and loved to ride horses. She was active in 4H, and won trophies for showing horses. In her late 20's, she moved down the road from her parents and continued to live there until she passed. She loved having a view of the family pond and spent a lot of time there. She loved nature and enjoyed being surrounded by fields, trees, and flowers. Carol was a hairdresser for over 40 years, and was the owner of The Foxy Den Hair Salon in Almont. She really loved her clientele and would travel to their house at times to do their hair. Carol made many friends during her time as a hairdresser, and cherished their business. She married Bob in 2011, and between them they had four children and ten grandchildren. She loved being with her family and hosted many celebrations, one being the annual Sunday before Memorial Day get together. She loved being around her friends. She and some of her life-long friends formed a friendship group, the Ya Ya's. They took turns hosting and planning activities, which she loved. She and Bob liked to go to Mackinaw Island every year, and took a yearly trip to New York to visit friends. They enjoyed doing other little trips and countless things together. Carol was loved by many and she will be missed.
