Carol A. Wingen, age 88, of Good Thunder, died Friday, September 26, 2025, at Old Main Village, Mankato.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Good Thunder, MN.

Carol was born May 12, 1937, to William R. and Renata H. (Wiechmann) Beschnett in Mankato. She graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1955. She then graduated with her degree from Mankato Commercial College. She married Dale A. Wingen on June 9, 1957, at St. John Lutheran Church, Good Thunder.

Carol was an especially talented creative person who created beautiful dried flower arrangements for others in her granary. In addition, she was a talented artist creating paintings of flowers and farmscapes.

Carol is survived by her children, Craig (Mary Ellen) Wingen, Jayne (Michael) Harvey; daughter-in-law, Abby Wingen; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Tappan and Bill (Phyllis) Beschnett; and extended family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; son, Neal; and brother, Derald.
