Carole A. (Wright) Broehl, of Dallas PA, died on Wednesday, in Allied Services Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Kuska) Wright, Sr.
She attended East Stroudsburg State College and worked for the Dallas Area School District, Social Security Disability Office, and the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She was a member of the Shavertown United Methodist Church, Member of Friends of Westley United Methodist Church, and the Social Club Committee at Greenbriar COA.
Carole enjoyed travel, shopping, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by fiancee Allan Kinsman, of Dallas PA; one son: Timothy (Patti) Penrose of Bethlehem; two daughters: Lori (Steve) Deibler of Stroudsburg and Amy Steinhart of Fulton, NY; one brother: William (Delphine) Wright, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA. She is also the loving grandmother of granddaughters, Sarah Deibler (Chatz Kresge) Alyssa (Lu) Penrose, grandsons, Ryan (Stephanie) Deibler, David (Elizabeth) Thomas, Zach and Jack Penrose; great grandchildren, Brianna Deibler and Julia Thomas and beloved cousin, Kathy Mueller of Lincoln, NE. Niece Christine Lawson, and Nephew Matthew Wright. S
he was preceded in death by late husband Alvin C. Stiff.
A private cremation will take place at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Clarks Summit. A small Celebration of Life service will be held The Village at Greenbriar Community Center, 4244 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA at 2:00 PM on Friday September 27th, 2024.
