Carole Holly Paulinyi Coffie, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on December 14, 1942, she was a cherished soul whose presence brought joy and comfort to those around her.
Throughout her life, Carole was known for her unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Meribeth Bowen and her husband Tim, and her son Marc Coffie and his wife Kristen. Her grandchildren, Ivy Bowen and McKenzie Coffie, were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Carole was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul W. Coffie, and her dear parents, Edward and Helen Paulinyi. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family, who will remember her as a sweet person and a visiting angel.
A compassionate caregiver for the mentally challenged, Carole dedicated herself to helping others with grace and kindness. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she read her Bible faithfully and was always ready to meet her Savior. A faithful Christian, she would often say, "I know Christ is in me," a testament to her deep and abiding belief.
Her favorite bible verse was Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Carole loved her family immensely, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her presence will be dearly missed, but the impact of her kindness and faith will never be forgotten.
