I have only 2 memories from the month I was in a coma. I will never forget opening my eyes and seeing my aunt Carole sitting beside my bed. Our eyes met and I saw she was crying. It was brief, but impactful. She was an amazing person. She was funny and kind and she always gave unconditional love. Until we meet again, rest in peace, auntie Carole, I love you.
