Boardman - Carole Ann Vagnozzi, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Carole was born January 23, 1935, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late John "Jack" and Frances (Hemma) Wauschek.
She worked for many years in the bakery department at IGA in Struthers, where she was known for her skill and creativity as a cake decorator.
A lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, Carole was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She cherished time spent with her children and especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carole is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Sebben of Warren, OH; Denise (Keith Snow) Shaw of FL; and Donna (Carl) Greenaway of Boardman, OH; as well as five grandchildren who will forever hold her in their hearts.
In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Ronald D. Vagnozzi, whom she married on August 10, 1951, and who passed away on June 1, 2006; a grandson; and her sister.
Per Carole's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman.
Arrangements are being handled by Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street, Boardman.
