Carole Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Dec. 11, 2025.
Carole Cooper Walker, 80, of Temple, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 29th in Gladewater, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on April 24, 1945 in Temple, Georgia to Lois Hudgins Cooper and Theodore Roosevelt Cooper, Carole grew up in Temple and graduated from Temple High School in 1963. She was married to Robert A. Walker from 1965 to 1975.
Carole was the mother of Robert A. "Rob" Walker, Jr., whom she raised in Carrollton, Georgia. She served Carroll County for over 30 years as a Tax Clerk and Probate Clerk. She was a faithful member of Old Camp Church.
In 2012, Carole followed Rob and his family to Texas and embraced her new life by making new friends and becoming involved with her grandchildren and their activities on a regular basis. She will live in their hearts as a proud mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a doting grandmother.
Carole's life was defined by her friendliness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a gift for greeting others with a smile and endearing them with her gentle, southern charm. She will be remembered as a loyal friend.
Carole is survived by her son, Rob, daughter-in-law, Michelle, and grandchildren Robert Cooper, Jackson Hart, and Gabrielle Nicole. She was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Ted.
A celebration of Carole's life will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 AM at Old Camp Church in Carrollton. Martin & Hightower Funeral Home in Carrollton is coordinating internment arrangements for the family.
