Carolyn Ann Armstead

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carolyn Ann Cooper Armstead, born on September 24, 1966, in Lecompte, LA, who left us on November 7, 2025. Carolyn, a charismatic and courageous woman, was a pillar of strength and love in her family and community. She resided in Pineville, Louisiana, where she dedicated her life to supporting others as a Residential Training Specialist III.

Carolyn was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She held her family close to her heart, cherishing every moment spent with her mother Helen Cooper, her daughter Brittany Armstead, her grandchildren Christian Hebert and Maisyn Mathews, her brother George Jr, and her sister-in-law Sharon Cooper. She was preceded in death by her father George Cooper, Sr., her sister Sandra Hilliard, and her aunts Brenda Lockett and Martha Clark.

In the words of Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Carolyn's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family and friends will remember her as a beacon of love, warmth, and strength, forever cherished in their memories.

Public viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 am CST at Beulah Baptist Church, 2716 Rapides Avenue, Lecompte, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm CST at the same venue.
