Carolyn Yvonne (Wade) Beisel, 86, of Riverside, Michigan passed away on November 12, 2024 at Corewell Hospital in St. Joseph with family at her side.
Yvonne was born February 21, 1937 in Hayti, Missouri to Ted and Vida Wade. She was married to the late Jim Beisel. She worked as a manager for Woolworths and several other retail stores and later became a caregiver providing private in-home care as well as working for Comfort Keepers where she became the caregiver of the month. After retirement, she served on the school board for Riverside Elementary most recently as treasurer.
The life of the party, Yvonne enjoyed laughing and joking with family and friends - especially her sister Joan and her husband, Tom. She enjoyed Nascar races, visiting the casino, playing board and card games and going to the beach. She was a stylish dresser, never leaving home without her make up and hair in perfect shape with a generous spray of perfume.
She is survived by her aunts Johnny Shartino and Florence Gill, uncle Gathel Jenkins, nephews Rodney Bell and Tommy (Susan) Bell, granddaughter Becky (Tim) Kellerman, great grandchildren Josh and Ashlynn Kellerman, great nephew Tommy (Dorothy) Bell, great great nieces Tyler and Breanna Bell as well as many other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and brother.
A celebration of her life will be held in 2025 - date to be announced. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com.
