Carolyn Billow Obituary
Carolyn is one of several children in her extended family. Surviving siblings are Peggi Miller, Norbert (Cyndi) Bliss, Rebecca (Robert) Withan, Hazel Fedowitz, Margarette (Gary) Johnson, Mike (Linda Smith) Trautman and Donald (Sandy Johe) Trautman.
After graduating high school, she married Harold "Buck" Billow in Angola, IN on September 9, 1960. Harold died on March 18. 2021. Carolyn was a mom and homemaker. Buck and Carolyn had four children. Their oldest son, Buster, passed too young in a tragic accident that they truly never healed from. Left to cope with these deaths are their remaining children, Jeannette (Jeff) Dougherty, Sue (Rich) Roth and Curt Billow; grandchildren Ryan Smith, Jason (Mindy), Clayton Billow, Cody Billow, Kati (Toni) Beuhler, Nathan Billow, Jacob Dougherty and Lakyn Shaferly; and 15 great grandchildren survive.
Grandsons, Cory Smith and Byran Billow and siblings, David Bliss, Timothy Bliss, Joan Zink, Karen Marquart, Harley Trautman, Terry Trautman and Donna Jacobs preceded her in death.
Graveside services commemorating Carolyn and Harold's lives will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, September 9, 10:30. Casual dress is expected. Certified Celebrant Jozie Hickman will officiate.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Sandusky County Dog Warden Shelter, 1950 Countryside Place, Fremont 43420.
