Carey is predeceased by her baby brother, Ronald Geis, who passed in 1963. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Blackshaw; children, Dana Pacelli and her husband, Anthony, Michelle Bozarth and her husband, Brian and Richie Blackshaw Jr.; parents, Elizabeth and Joseph Geis; brother, Joseph Geis and his wife, Debby; many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral will be on Thursday, May 23,2024 starting at 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret, followed by a 10 AM Mass at St. Joseph Church in Carteret. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22,2024 from 6 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Deborah Heart and Lung Center 200 Trenton Road, Brown Mills, NJ 08015 would be appreciated.

I was so shocked to hear the passing of Cary. I meant Cary at Bloomingdales 2.5 years ago. I worked on the Visual Team and I was always in handbags doing something. Cary would always say, now what do they have you doing? I got to know Carrie as time went on working at Bloomingdale´s. We did share some stories about Cape May one of my favorite places and hers as well. Working at Bloomingdale´s this week was not the same especially down in handbags. We all miss her. I hope that each of you continue to share stories, memories and sayings of things about Cary. She will continue to live on through each of you My deepest condolences today and those days ahead.
