Carolyn Burkle Obituary
She was born February 23, 1947 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Carl and Gene Teders Hoose.
She was a receptionist from Wheeling Hospital with over 25 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Burkle.
Survivors include her two sons, William (Stephanie) Burkle of Wheeling, WV, and Gregory Burkle of Wheeling, WV; six grandchildren, Zachary (Becky) Burkle, Jordan Burkle, Andrew Burkle, Ezekiel Burkle, Koven Burkle, Karri Burkle; two great-grandsons, Finley and Sawyer Burkle; sister Mary Lynn Phillips of Charlottesville, VA; brother, Rick (Barbara) Hoose of Jacksonville, FL; daughter-in-law; Alana Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday January 15, 2026 from 9:30am until time of service at 10:30am at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem, WV with Pastor Spencer Curry officiating.
Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
