Carolyn Faye Muse

Carolyn Faye Muse, age 69, of Stanford, KY, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home. She was born Monday, May 5, 1952 in the Everts Community of Harlan County, KY. Her loving husband is Robert Isaac "Bobby" Muse, whom she married Tuesday, December 8, 1998, of Stanford. Carolyn was the previous owner, for 12 years, of The Village Shoppe in downtown Stanford. Carolyn was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, loved crafts, and loved telling other people about the Lord.
In addition to her husband, Carolyn leaves behind one son, Delbert Ernest Asher (Christy) of Stanford; two daughters, Sandra Renee Rice (Devon) of Boynton Beach, FL, and Georgianna Brock (Cindi McGaughy) of Stanford; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Roy Lee Howington (Karen) of Williamsburg, KY; three sisters, Barbara Williams of Manchester, OH, Judy Young (Cecil) of Cincinnati, OH, and Jo Ann Corsmeier (Steve) of Cincinnati; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her biological parents, Mabel Smith Howington and William Howington; adopted parents, David and Lena Ruth "Ruby" Jones Sinkhorn; one daughter, Tresea Darlene Kilby; one brother, Eddie Howington; and three sisters, Phyllis Walls, Brenda Howington, and Priscilla Jean Howington Sharp.
A Public Visitation will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 11am-1pm at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1pm Friday, November 12, 2021 at the funeral home. Bro. Gary King will officiate the service and burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
