In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter Angel Griffin; sons Jimmy Grffin Jr. and Robert Griffin; granddaughter Danielle Fronefield; and sister Deborah Moore.
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed but we now know she is at her eternal home. Carolyn enjoyed crafting, gardening, making friends and is remembered for her sharp wit and fun sense of humor.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Jimmy Griffin; daughter Bridget Mills (Stephen); daughter-in-law Christina Griffin; grandchildren Allen Mills (Donna); Robert Griffin Jr. (Jennifer); Stephen Mills Jr. (Kenan); Leslie Griffin; and Kayla Mills; great grandchildren Cameron, Jordan, Logan and Aubrey Mills; Alexis and Brian Fronefield; Abigail and Hunter Griffin; Elliott and Sawyer Mills; Lucy Webster and Landon Tucker; brother Rudolph Poole (Linda); sisters Dot Turner, Lois Poole, Venise Skinner (Ricky).
A visitation will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 3:00pm with Reverend Allen Mills officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Sharpsburg Church of God, P.O. Box 99, Sharpsburg, NC 27878.
