Carolyn Hoskins Obituary

Graduating from WKU, with a Master's Degree in Education, Carolyn spent 30+ years with JCPS and 8 years in the Catholic school system. She loved children.
As a dedicated Librarian, Carolyn was passionate about developing library services in elementary schools. Beginning by exposing students to reading, she expanded their knowledge to include reporting, broadcasting and all the aspects of media.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Roy Greer and a sister, Sharon.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kent Hoskins along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends and extended family members who loved her.
Visitation at Ratterman's St. Matthews on Lexington Rd from 2pm-7 pm on Monday, July 7th. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held at St. Albert the Great, 1395 Girard Drive at 11 am on Tuesday, July 8th, followed by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park on Bardstown Road.
