Carolyn Marie LePera

On January 13, 2024, Carolyn Marie LePera (Shea) passed away at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Born and raised in Leonia, NJ, Carolyn graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels before attending the NY School of Visual Arts. After marrying in 1989, she relocated to Salisbury, MD, before moving back to NJ in 2004 settling in Cherry Hill and raising two children. She retired from Helvoet Pharma in Pennsauken as a customer service representative and production planner.
Her greatest passion was family especially spending time with her granddaughter. Her later life was devoted to helping others as an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church Ministries. Carolyn was always quick to respond to anyone in need without question or hesitation and served as a mentor to many.
Her lifetime love of music and the arts was exemplified by frequently going to see her son Ralph perform at numerous independent music venues in Philly and South Jersey.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eileen (Duggan) Shea as well as her two brothers, Richard and Thomas Shea. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Ralph LePera; her children, Kathryn LePera and Ralph LePera; her granddaughter, Marlee Crabtree; her sisters, Jeanne Russo and Patty Shea as well as her brothers, Willie and Christopher Shea.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Sunday, January 21st from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and again on Monday, January 22nd from 9:30-10:30 AM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 1816 Berlin Road (Route 561), Cherry Hill, NJ. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 22nd, 11:00 AM at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment following at Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
