Carolyn Marie Neiberger, 79, died December 31, 2021 after a 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Carolyn Marie Pfeifer was born January 16, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Frank and Seraphina Pfeifer. She grew up in Denver and attended Elyria, St. Joseph's and Annunciation Catholic schools. After high school she went to work with her sisters Edna and Neta at Daily General Insurance Company.
Carolyn married Wayne Neiberger on November 30, 1963 and started their family one year later, raising them in Erie, Colorado. After Wayne's death in 2011, Carolyn moved to Loveland to be closer to her children.
Carolyn's pride and joy were her 5 sons, who gave her 13 grandchildren and 1 ½ great grandchildren. She could be found on any given weekend cheering on her grandkids, babysitting them, crafting, sewing, gardening, baking, or visiting with family & friends. Carolyn loved to travel and her bags were always packed for a new adventure. Carolyn had a heart of gold and was a very giving, kind person. She lived a fulfilling life as a loving & dedicated mother to her sons, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, and a caring friend to many.
Her laughter and craziness is something we will miss the most. She always stayed positive, even when she wasn't feeling well-she taught us "not to sweat the small stuff, cuz it's all small stuff"! Her battle with cancer was full of faith and hope and was fought gracefully. We will miss her so much!
Carolyn is survived by her sons Todd (Lisa), Troy (Judy), Matt (Amber), Robert (Angela), Travis (Desiree), her Grandchildren Alyssa, Emily, Payton, Logan, Tanner, Brandon, Bailey, Auzsa, Kayden, Delayne, Gavin, Mason, McKinnley, 1 Great Grandchild Josie, and 1 on the way. 4 Sisters Elvora Grazier, Mary Corn, Edna Hill, Delores Dickhaut, numerous nieces & nephews, & lots of extended family and friends.
The Memorial Service will take place Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, 1730 W. 12th St. Loveland, Co with the Rosary beginning at 10:00 am and the Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 am. A luncheon will be served. As a way to celebrate Carolyn's life we are suggesting that everyone wear something Blue, her favorite color.
