Carolyn Sue Pierce, age 85, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 6, 1940, to William and Dorothy Kimball.

Carolyn lived a life defined by intelligence, compassion, and quiet strength. In her early years, she worked as a stenographer, a career that reflected her discipline and sharp mind. She later earned her master's degree in psychology from the University of Houston, a proud achievement and reflection of her lifelong love of learning.

Though her education and accomplishments were meaningful, Carolyn's greatest calling was her family. As a devoted wife and stay-at-home mother, she poured her energy and heart into raising her children and creating a loving home. Her children always knew her unconditional love, steady guidance, and unwavering support.

To her grandchildren, she was affectionately known as "Mimi." Her grandsons, Tad, Tyler, and Thomas, who were truly the center of her world. Mimi cherished every moment with them, encouraging them to be adventurous, playful, and carefree boys. Whether she was taking them on outings, cheering them on in their interests, or simply enjoying their laughter, her greatest joy was in being their grandmother. Later in life, she found immense happiness in her role as a great- grandmother, treasuring every moment with her beloved great-granddaughter, Cameron.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James Kenneth Pierce; her daughter, Kim Diane Pierce; her son, Kyle David Pierce, and his wife, Anne Pierce. She leaves behind her three treasured grandsons, Tad Pierce, Tyler Pierce, and Thomas Pierce, her cherished great-granddaughter Cameron Pierce, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Kimball Pierce; her father, William Kimball; and her siblings, Billye Hendricks, Lou Reed, and John Kimball. Their memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Carolyn will be remembered for her boundless devotion to her family, her warmth, and the joy she found in nurturing and loving those around her. Her legacy will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the love of her family, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 9:00am with a Ceremony at 10:00am at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
