Carolyn Ann Sapp, 72, of Concord, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at her home in Concord.
Carol was born August 12, 1951 in North Carolina to the late James Oscar Clay and the late Etta Vernie Bolton Clay.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Gary Wayne Sapp, daughter, Stacy Lynn Sapp.
Carol loved going to church and singing her gospel music, She loved her family and going to yard sales with Tracy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic and Matthew Lewis. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Tracy Sapp Christenbury (Lonnie), grandson, Anthony Hunter, granddaughter, Abigail Christenbury, step-grandson, Eric Christenbury, step-granddaughter, Nicole Murillo, and five great-grandchildren, and also her fur baby Ellie Mae.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 .
