Carolyn Marie VanZandt

CAROLYN MARIE VANZANDT, of Lafayette, TN went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2024 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by love and family. She was born August 19, 1936 to Samuel and Dorothy Chimino. She was married to Arthur Van Zandt, together they raised a house full of children in Hudson, MI and later retired to Tennessee. He preceded her in death. Carolyn loved spending time with family and friends. Everyone was always welcomed in her home, she loved to laugh and have a good time. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, puzzles and yard sales. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Michael VanZandt and a daughter, Audrey VanZandt. She is survived by 6 sons, 6 daughters and one honorary daughter. Claude VanZandt, Doak VanZandt, Keith (Angela) VanZandt, Kenneth VanZandt, Joseph (Shelly) VanZandt and Mike (Amelia) Bauman, Patricia Kelley, Delight VanDame, Anna Wild, Dorothy (Daniel) Kellison, Theresa Carl Riggs, Marikay (Renee) Buchanan and Carla Davis. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
