Mrs. Carolyn B. Wagner

Carolyn B. Wagner (nee Webb) age 84 years of Gibbstown passed away on Sunday October 26, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Camden, raised in Pitman and moved to Gibbstown in 1963 after her marriage. Mrs. Wagner worked as Secretary – Treasurer for Wagner Provisions and also ran the butcher shop at the family business for many years. She also drove a school bus for Gibbstown Schools and later Walt's Bus Service transporting students to many area schools. Mrs. Wagner served on the Gibbstown Cultural and Heritage Committee. She enjoyed trips to the shore, gardening, and doing crafts such as needlepoint and stained glass. Most of all, she liked supervising "Projects" that she had Herb do around the house.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbold Wagner Jr. of Gibbstown; her children, Laura Wagner of Gibbstown, Herbold III and Carol Wagner of Gibbstown; her grandchildren, Herbold IV and Benjamin Wagner; her sisters, Bernice Gendron of Ortley Beach, NJ and Joan Webb of Deptford and her beloved dog, Bart.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday October 31, 2025 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 West Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday morning after 9:30 until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
