Carolyn Walters Obituary
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Carolyn Walters, 82, who passed away August 30, 2024 at her home. Deacon Art Bakeler will conduct the funeral services. Interment will follow the service in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings.
Survivors include her three children, Shelly Walters of Lafayette, Tony (Christina) Walters of New Braunfels, TX, and Col. Chris (Tina) Walters of Kathleen, GA; her siblings, Ann Patin and Bill Babin, both of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Nicole Touchette, Kayla Walters, Michael Walters, Jessica Walters, Christina Knox, Chase Dickenson, Victoria Walters, Felix Walters, and Logan Walters; and five great-grandchildren, Khaoz Smith, Harper Touchette, Kate Touchette, Leia Walters, and Isabelle Knox.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm James Walters; and her parents, Verna Richard Babin and Van Babin.
Visitation will be held Tuesday morning before the service beginning at 9:00 am
