Carolyn Massey Winn was born November 12,1952 in Clarksdale, MS. Carolyn leaves behind her son Michael Winn (Amber Winn) of Batesville, MS and five grandchildren: Ashton Winn, Kaitlyn Palmertree, Taylor Palmertree, Levi Palmertree, and Swayze Winn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Massey, her father, James Massey, and her sister, Peggy Massey Lloyd.
Carolyn was a devout Christian and active member of Clarksdale Methodist Church. Carolyn was a kind and caring soul that loved her family wholeheartedly. She loved being a mother and a Gigi. Carolyn had a love of being in the kitchen baking and was known for her delicious treats, especially her pumpkin rolls. She loved to spend time in the kitchen with her family and grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her infectious smile, generous heart, and motherly personality.
Meredith Nowell Funeral Home are handling the arrangements. Visitation is November 11, 2025, 11 AM- 12 PM at Clarksdale Methodist Church. Service is November 11, 2025, starting at 12 PM at Clarksdale Methodist Church with burial following at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lyon Mississippi.
