Gloria Jean Parish Williams, 92, a homemaker, died October 26, 2025, at home. Visitation is Thursday, October 30, 2025, 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Sumner Baptist Church in Sumner, MS. Funeral services are 2:00pm Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Sumner Baptist Church in Sumner, MS with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters Connie Sue Becher of Sarah, MS, Wanda (Bret) Willingham of Ruleville, MS, Vickie (Danny) Hanks of Gore Springs, MS; sister Ruth Cates of Cleveland, MS; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren & twelve great- great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband James Allen Williams; parents Burris & Elizabeth Franks Parish; sons Mike McCollum, Jimmy Williams, Terry Williams, Gary Williams; sisters Floy Long, Annie Belle Brower, Hellie Tacker, Dot Miller, Edna Mae Parish.
