Carolyn Sue Wood

RICHMOND, IN–, Carolyn Sue Wood, age 82, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Brickyard surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 21, 1941, in Connersville, Indiana to Dwight and Ann Gulley Sheehy, Carolyn lived most of her life in this community. She worked in the office and retired from Warfield Oil. Carolyn enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Holly (Mike) Wood-Coddington, Angela (Ron) Wilson, and Tierney McKee; grandchildren, Recie Link III, Daniel Link, Alishia Allen, Tiffany White, Shane McKee, Dale Luce, and Lindsey Pardo; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Sheehy of Florida; nieces; nephews; and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon "Woody" Wood, whom she married in 1960; parents; sister, Joan McClay; and brothers, Dwight Eugene Sheehy, and James Sheehy.
A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be beside her husband at Earlham Cemetery.
