Miss Carrie Caroline Bostic, 45, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning, July 2, 2025. Miss Bostic was born November 24, 1979, in Surry County, one of three children born to Iona Barr Bostic and the late Andy Lee Bostic. A graduate of East Surry High School, Carrie was an enthusiastic member of the school’s JROTC program, where she developed a strong sense of discipline and teamwork. She later worked for several years at Burger King in Mount Airy, where she was known for her friendly smile and dedication to her coworkers and customers alike. Carrie will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and quiet strength. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving mother, Iona Barr Bostic; her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Ronnie Valentine; and her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Dale and Brandy Bostic. Carrie also leaves behind two special friends, Sarah DeHart and Teresa Barber, who brought joy and companionship into her life. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Carrie’s life will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Bostic family.
