Carrie Mae Scroggs, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her home.

Born June 10, 1935 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard and Nettie Allen Farmer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Scroggs; brothers, Bill, John, Wesley, Howard, Harold, Joe, and George Farmer; sisters, Florence Perry, Beatrice Farmer, and Julie Whitmire; and her son, Mark Scroggs.

Mrs. Scroggs worked as a seamstress at Antreville Manufacturing. She was a member of Homeland Park Church of God and loved reading her Bible. She also loved gardening, flowers, working in her yard, and family game night, especially Dominoes. She loved Gospel music and most importantly she loved her family.

She is survived by her son, David Scroggs of Anderson, SC; daughters, Joan Norris of Iva, SC and Debbie McCurry (Jeff) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca Fassoth (Josh), John David Scroggs, Andy Scroggs, Jason Burdette, Stephanie Loftis (Scott), Timothy Scroggs (Amy), Jennifer Scroggs, Tommy Scroggs, Charles Scroggs, Brittany Barnes (Wesley), Jeffrey McCurry Jr. (Erica), Amber McCurry Miller, and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Services are pending.
