On May 22, 1962 Carolyn and Clyde Braddock welcomed their first born, Carrol Owen Braddock into this world. Growing up Carrol was a sweet, kindhearted soul who would give the shirt off his back and always stood up for others. He was a beloved big brother to his little sisters. He attended Young Elementary School and Ranger ISD where he graduated in 1980. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, and working on the ranch.

Carrol married the love of his life on July 26th, 1991. During the past 34 years he became a loving father to Rhonda and Ronny and the most amazing Papa to his grandkids and great grandkids. All of them being the light of his life. Teaching them all the ways of the outdoors and wildlife. All of them learned to hunt and fish, taking them on some of the best camping trips a child could ask for. He even won an award at Head Start for fixing the best hair (Jessi's). He was an amazing man and a hero to all his babies.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Braddock of Ranger; parents, Carolyn and Clyde Braddock of Ranger; daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Alton Watson of Ranger; sisters, Carrie Braddock and husband Matt of Ranger, and Cheryl Thayer and husband Bobby of Ranger; grandchildren, Jake and Stephanie Wells, Jessica Wells and Sam, Nick Gilbert, and Jason Hooper all of Ranger, Michael and Sky Gilbert, and Cali Slaughter of Eastland, Cheyanne Gilbert of Breckenridge, Dom and Chelsea Taylor of Cisco, and Jasmyn Donias of Ft. Worth; 23 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
