Carroll Brooks Harper

Mr. Carroll Brooks Harper, age 87, of Sharpsburg, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born April 5, 1938, in Alma, Georgia, the son of the late Pearlie Harper and Mable Kathlene Mayers Harper. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughters, Donna Harper Rasar and Teresa Harper Donker; and siblings, Carrie Harper, Cassie Haddock, Cleo Harper, JR Harper, Virgil Harper.
He served proudly in the Air Force where he was honorably discharged. He owned a beauty shop in Forest Park, Ga until his retirement. He loved his family, the beach and gardening and was most happy being outside.
Mr. Harper leaves behind his wife, Shirley Loder Harper; daughters, Gina (Ray) Evans and Karen Harper; grandchildren, Jarred (Schylar) Evans, Jenna Evans (Mike) Nugent, Kallie Rasar (Jonathan) Sears, Ryan (Bailey) Rasar, and Anna Zophia Serrate; great-grandchildren, JT Sears, Gibson Evans, Remy Rasar, and Anderson Evans; sister, Myra Swinson ; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A service to honor Mr. Harper's life will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
