Carroll Smith Obituary
Denny was born in 1952 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Carroll G. Smith and Mary Ella (Richard) Smith. He was a graduate of James Wood High School. Denny retired after working for over 40 years at Clems Garage as a Mechanic/Parts Runner. He enjoyed dirt track racing.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Jack Edward Scheulen of Stephens City, VA, nephew, Shawn M. Scheulen, great niece, Jasmine R. Scheulen and great nephew, Jaysen V. Scheulen.
A visitation will be held for Denny on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2pm all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Stephens City. Officiating will be Pastor John Lock.
The pallbearers will be Billy McDonald, Tony Lohr, Gary Smith, Charles "Chaz" Taylor, Clayton Carbaugh and Chuck Anderson.
