Winder, GA - Caryl Marie Chirello, 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Winder Center for Nursing & Healing, Winder, GA.

Born to Walter L. and Alva M. Morris, Caryl lived in Plainfield, NJ, then moved to North Plainfield, NJ, where she graduated from North Plainfield High School in 1950. She resided in North Plainfield for many years, where she retired as a secretary for the Borough of North Plainfield in 1994.She relocated to Athens, GA, in 1998. She enjoyed her time as a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital. Caryl was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Chirello.

Caryl is survived by her children; Robert M. and his wife Stephanie, Sharon L. Perrine and her husband, Harry, Granddaughter, Melissa Chirello Newton, and her husband, Branden, and great grandson, Brantley.

A memorial mass will be held at the Catholic Center at UGA, 1344 So. Lumpkin St., Athens, GA on Saturday July 19, 2025 at 11am.

Family and friends are invited to attend. The service will be streamed.An interment service will be held privately at a later date in NJ.
