Caryl M. LeVita, cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 19, 1942, in Chicago, Caryl held dear the roles she played in her family. She was a beloved wife to the late Joe LeVita and to Michael Bonfield. As a mother, she nurtured and loved her children, Kevin (Kara) Bonfield, Sue (Mike) Reid, and Kim (Tony) Belehradek, instilling values of kindness and compassion.

Caryl was also a loving daughter to the late Carl and Gertrude Roerig. She was a caring sister to her late siblings – Phillip Roerig, Joan DeRose, and Alan Roerig, cherishing the bonds that united them.

Her legacy extends to her cherished grandchildren: Frank, Emily, Cristina, Stephani, Meghan, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Kendall, Dominique, James and the late Johnny as well as her two great-grandchildren, AJ and Nico. Each one of them carries a piece of Caryl's generous spirit and warmth.

Caryl will be remembered for her unwavering faith, selflessness, and compassion. She lived her life dedicated to her family, friends, dogs, and even strangers, embodying a truly giving nature. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we commemorate the life of Caryl M. LeVita, we celebrate her legacy of love and the impact she made on everyone around her.
