Ms. Caryne Denise Carter was born in Greenwood, SC on November 6, 1984, to Carolyn and Robert Carter. Caryne entered into enteral rest on December 23, 2025. She was a member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, SC.

Caryne was a graduate of Ninety-Six High School Class of 2003. Caryne excelled in sports throughout high school. Caryne was a member of the track and field, basketball, and volleyball teams. She helped led her volleyball team to a State Championship in 2003.

Caryne loved being at home, relaxing having her Mountain Dew on the side. She had a passion to make candles and wanted to start her own business. Overall, Caryne devoted her life to her kids, because they were her greatest joy.

Caryne will be remembered by her warm and infectious smile, kind heart, and beautiful soul. She was always willing to help others even after her transition by providing life to others.

Caryne was predeceased in death by her maternal grandparents, Helen and Buddy Davis, and paternal grandparents, Minnie Carter and Robert Yeldell.

Caryne leaves her legacy of love and caring to her family. Parents, Carolyn and Robert Carter, daughters, Kalyna McLaren, and Kalaysia Drennon, and son, Korey "KJ" Drennon. Significant other. Corey Drennon. Siblings, Robyn (Quinn) Griffin, Roz {Erikerson) Carter, and Antoinette (Merico) Graham, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and plenty of family and friends who will mourn her death.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 1-5 P.M at the funeral home.

A celebration of Life for Caryne Denise Carter will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, South Carolina (Epworth) with the Reverend Dr. Danny R. Webb, Officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kurtis Drennon, Kortavis Drennon, Edward Watson, Drell Watson and friends of the family. Flower Bearers will be friends of the family.

The family is at the home, 108 Leonard Street and the home 104 Sycamore Drive, Greenwood, South Carolina.

Parks Funeral Home is assisting the Carter Family.
