Casey Blain Binfield

Casey B. Binfield, 35, of Fargo and formerly of Wahpeton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
A celebration of life will be held at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home in Wahpeton from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, with time for sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Casey was born in Minot, ND, on February 26, 1988, to Eddy and ZaZa (Bennett) Binfield. As a kid, he was a wonderful big brother who always protected his little sister. He loved to ride bike and skateboard all over town with his best friend, Danny. Casey enjoyed drawing and creating art, a passion he held through his adulthood.
Casey earned two NASM certifications as a Nutrition Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. He also earned an ISSA certification as a Specialist in Bodybuilding. He idolized Arnold Schwarzenegger and created an Instagram account to help teach others how to lift weights and eat right. He also used this platform to encourage positivity of body and mind. His motto was, "If it's meant to be, it's up to me".
Casey had the biggest heart and cared about everyone around him more than himself. He never wanted to make anyone mad or upset. He was encouraging and a jokester, always trying to light up the lives of others. Casey loved music of all genres, creating a "positive playlist" to keep him in high spirits. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephew, who loved to be picked up and swung around by his strong arms.
Left to cherish Casey's memory are his parents, Eddy and ZaZa; his sister, Brandy (Jonathan Barnett) Binfield; his twin nieces, Akira and Kendra Barnett; his nephew, Lucas Barnett; his special cousin and her children: Kristina (David, III) and Anthony, Gavin, and Blake Badgley; his grandma, Gloria Binfield; uncles: Rock (Carol), Rich, and Roger (Mary) Bennett; aunts, Elsa Binfield and Laura (Roger) Braun; cousins: Kenny Mariner, Shawn and Mason Braun; and his best friend, Danny Lund.
Preceding him in death was his grandpa, Willard Binfield, and his grandma, Cherry Bennett.
