Casey Ray Thomas, born on October 15, 1975, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 7, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, and father, whose legacy of love and dedication will always be remembered by those who knew him.
For 30 years, Casey devoted his career to Span Tech as a customer service representative, building lasting relationships with his colleagues and clients alike.
Casey was known not just for his professional achievements, but also for his incredible culinary skills. He had a special talent for grilling and smoking, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to prepare meals without the need for any recipes. His family and friends often gathered around him, eager to enjoy the delicious creations he crafted with passion.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Thomas, and his cherished son, Landon Thomas. Casey will be deeply missed by his brothers, Brian Keith Thomas (Casey) and Jeffrey Mitchell Thomas, along with his nieces and nephews—Savannah Thomas, Hunter Thomas, and Summer Thomas—who were sources of immense joy in his life. Additionally, he leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins who were fortunate to share in his life.
Casey was preceded in death by his father, Terry Mitchell Thomas, whose memory lives on through the love of those he left behind.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 11th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. The visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
As we remember Casey Ray Thomas, may we honor his spirit through kindness, compassion, and a commitment to the joy of gathering around the table with those we cherish. His indelible mark on our hearts will remain forever cherished.
