Cassie King Obituary
Cassie Danielle Chapman Dowell, 53, wife of Kelly Dowell, of San Antonio Drive, Nicholasville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born on August 5, 1972, to Danny Chapman and the late Hope Davis Chapman. Cassie worked as a Registered Nurse and was employed with Bluegrass Community Health. Cassie is survived by her husband, Kelly, her father, Danny (Agnes Elizabeth) Chapman, two sons, Tanner and Brennen King, a daughter, McKenna Taylor, and a brother, Darren (Melissa) Chapman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Chapman. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 AM until the service time. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Cassie’s family in their time of need.
