Iva Katherine Masters, age 91, of Nicholasville, Ky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Lexington Country Place in Lexington, Ky. She was born in Jessamine County, Ky, on January 13, 1935, to the late Thomas Davis and Mary V. Stinnett Davis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Masters, and a grandson, Billy Ray Masters III. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Crawford (Gene), her son, Bill Masters, five grandchildren, Katherine Beaver (Jason), Andrew Crawford, Timothy Crawford, Steven Crawford, David Masters (Kelly), three great-grandchildren, Addison Beaver, Nicholas Beaver, Krista Crawford, two sisters, Emma Jean Fisher of Nancy, Ky, and Anna Perrin of Nicholasville, Ky, a niece Norma Jones (Larry) of Nancy, Ky, and a special friend, Gloria Gray of Frankfort, Ky. Katherine worked as a pharmacy technician for local drug stores in Nicholasville and retired from K-Mart. She was a devout Christian with a steadfast faith. She authored “Faith, Hope, and Peace,” a collection of inspirational poems with hope, comfort, and celebration. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, 404 N. Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky, with Pastor Bruce Floyd officiating. The visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nicholasville First Assembly of God Church, 1701 Wilmore Rd, Nicholasville, Ky 40356. This obituary was lovingly submitted by the Masters Family.
