CASSIE WHITE
Henderson, TN: Cassie Jean White age 33 passed away March 24, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born February 22, 1991, in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Shelly Watkins Matthews and Darryl White. She grew up in Munford, TN and was a 2008 graduate of Munford High School. She later attended TCAT in Covington and graduated in 2022 with a Dental Assistant Certificate.
She worked as a Dental Assistant for Middlecoff Dental Group in Somerville, TN.
She loved being outdoors and enjoyed boating, Karaoke and playing pool.
She dearly loved her son Caleb and being his mother.
She was a very smart, independent, outgoing person, full of love and laughter. She was also big hearted and would do anything for you.
Cassie is survived by her son, Caleb Rhea Joyner of Middleton, TN; her mother, Shelly Matthews (James) of Savannah; her father, Darryl White (Allison) of Union City; seven brothers, Hunter Watkins of Savannah, Clint White of Munford, Justin White (Jessica) of South Dakota, Justin White of Munford, Jeremy White of Alabama, Sean Matthews (Joseph Goins) of Nashville, Walker Plunk of Union City; three sisters, Terrie Fleming (Hunter) of Henderson; Mary-Ann Mongeon (Randy) of Munford, Cothren Plunk of Union City; maternal grandfather, Charles Wayne Watkins of Horn Lake, MS; Nephews, Lucas and Bo Fleming.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Childress; paternal grandparents Jimmie and Betty White’ maternal grandmother, Linda Davis, and an Aunt, Regina Ware.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Shackelford Funeral Directors - East Main Chapel with burial in Chester County Memorial Gardens.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
