Cathy "Katie" Bedinghaus, age 71, of Tyler, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in Brownwood, Texas. She was born June 10, 1953 in Anniston, Alabama to James and Ruby Wood. Katie was Baptist by faith and adored her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Bedinghaus; daughter, Jenny Gajewski; and her parents.
Katie is survived by her son, Greg Brown and wife Nikki of Atlanta, Texas; brother, James Wood and wife Alleice; sisters, Marylin Wood, Ronney Wood, Sarah Byrd; grandchildren, Maia Brown, Eli Brown, Brandon Gajewski, Sean Bogle; and a number of other family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:30 pm, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Alamance Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, before the service, at Hanner Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. FL. 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601
