Catherine "Tina" Carnahan, age 83, passed away on May 1, 2024. She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Claude Joseph Carnahan II, who preceded her in death.
Tina was born to Anthony and Rose Scopelliti in White Plains, NY, where Tina also met the love of her life, Claude. Together they raised a loving family of three children: Claude, Christine, and Craig. Tina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Tina's affection for her family radiated to her eight grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "Grammie".
Tina found joy in traveling the world with friends and family creating lasting memories together. Vermont held a special spot in her heart where countless family memories were created and shared between Tina, Claude, and their loved ones. Whether it was skiing at Okemo in the winter, or boating on Lake Rescue in the summer, Vermont was a second home to them.
Tina provided comfort and purpose in her service to others. Her faith was an integral part of her life, as she was a dedicated volunteer at St. Luke's Catholic Church and a proud member of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Tina found pleasure in simple joys like bowling, watching Hallmark, and socializing with friends. She found immense joy in watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting events and was quite the vocal spectator.
Her witty charm and unfiltered candor, she was a beacon of authenticity who never hesitated to voice her thoughts.
She leaves behind a legacy carried forward by her three children: Claude (Marina) Carnahan, Christine (John) Pavone, and Craig (Melissa) Carnahan, her eight grandchildren: Alexandria (Tim), Marissa (John), CJ, John, Austin, Kaytlyn, Morgan, and Maksim and her great-grandchild, Aurora. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
