Catherine Cuddy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Dale City on Jan. 13, 2025.
Catherine Roxanne Cuddy, 70, of Dumfries, Virginia, passed away to be with our loving God on January 8th, 2025.
Catherine Roxanne Cuddy was born in Staten Island, New York to Louis Adelard Breault and Lois Beatrice Breault (Lansford) on July 20th, 1954. She grew up in a military household and attended many schools within the United States and different countries. She graduated Thomas Edison High School in Fairfax, Virginia where she fell in love with her high school sweetheart Timothy Cuddy. They married on June 21, 1975, and nearly celebrated 50 years of marriage this year. She obtained further education in dental hygiene and became a Dental Assistant, which was her main career for many years before parenthood. After becoming a mother to Timothy Cuddy, Jr., she eventually stopped working to be a full-time mom. Catherine Roxanne Cuddy was first and foremost a devout Christian, and her faith through her many hardships was an inspiration to all. She was involved in many committees, prayer groups, and bible studies over the years, along with participating in many weekend retreats through National Capital Area Emmaus. Her main spiritual gift was that of prayer, which she would do ceaselessly for others. She had a deep passion for cooking and would create her own recipes from scratch and share them with family and friends. She loved to read novels and create art in the forms of sewing for clothing and banners. She most especially enjoyed all the time she could spend with loved ones, most importantly her grandchildren.
Catherine Roxanne Cuddy is preceded in death by her father (Louis Adelard Breault), mother (Lois Beatrice Breault), sister (Suzanne Marie Foy), and grandchild (Easton Timothy Cuddy).
Catherine Roxanne Cuddy is survived by her husband (Timothy Ugene Cuddy, Sr.), son (Timothy Ugene Cuddy, Jr.), daughter-in-law (Meredith Rae Cuddy), and grandchildren (Landon James Cuddy, Payton Rae Cuddy, and Camdon Timothy Cuddy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hope Hill Church, which was her home church at https://www.hopehillchurch.org/give.
The family of Catherine Roxanne Cuddy wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to her surviving family, Hope Hill Church, and members of the National Capital Area Emmaus community for the prayers and outpouring of blessings during this difficult time.
We all are blessed for the 70 years of life of Catherine Roxanne Cuddy given to us by God and the outpouring of love, smiles, and prayers she gave to her family, friends, and church communities.
Mom, you will be forever loved and missed till we are able to meet again. Thank you for being an inspiration and beacon for so many. We love you always and forever!
