WATERBURY - Mrs. Catherine Nicole Curry-Roberts, 45, of Waterbury, CT died unexpectedly on March 7, 2023. Catherine, also known as Nicole, was born on August 30, 1977 to the late James Williams Curry Sr. and Diana Catherine Curry.
Catherine was a graduate of Bay State College and the University of Connecticut.
Catherine worked for Abbott Terrence Daycare Center for approximately twenty years as an early childhood development instructor. Determined to continue her education, Catherine enrolled in the University of Connecticut, and for the last three years has been employed by Aspire Living & Learning as a Behavior Therapist.
Catherine is survived by her mother Mrs. Diana C. Curry of Bristol, CT. Her brother, James Williams Curry Jr. of Waterbury, CT. Her sisters, Kimberly Lockhart-Davis (James) of Murrieta, CA, Dawn Lockhart, Tonya Curry, Tasha Curry, and LaShawna Curry, all of Waterbury, CT. Most of all, she is survived by the loves of her life, her three sons, Solomon, James and Noah Roberts and her stepdaughter, Sallyn Roberts.
Catherine's smile lite up a room. To know her was to love her. Catherine loved to dance and was a big sports fan. Her favorite past time was to bake her sweet potato pies Catherine was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed.
Funeral services celebrating Catherine's life will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Baptist Church 137 Pearl St Waterbury CT 06704. Relatives and friends may visit with Catherine's family from 10:00 until the service at the church. Casey's Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705 has been honored to assist the Curry- Roberts family during this very difficult time.
