Catherine Dossat Obituary
Catherine "Cathy" Dossat, age 68, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023.
Cathy was born September 8, 1954 a daughter of the late John E. and Helen Boisse Giramonti. She graduated from Branford High School in Branford, CT and was a member of the National Honor Society. While attending high school, Cathy received numerous business awards.
Cathy worked as a poker dealer at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut. While living in South Carolina, Cathy worked for Beach Holidays as an Administrative Assistant for Doug Martin.
Cathy enjoyed gaming of all sorts as well as her many pets. She was full of energy and loved to make people smile and laugh. She loved all animals; including her husband, Raymond.
In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. Dossat, Sr.; and one granddaughter, Alyson R. Dossat.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Tammy Kelly (Michael); two stepsons, Raymond G. Dossat, Jr. (Denise) and Randy Dossat (Mary); four grandchildren, Andrew Dossat, Cassandra Dossat, Tyler M. Dossat, and Declan J. Kelly; siblings, Deborah A. Legge and Peter S. Boisse; and several nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be private.

I remember our trips to Vegas and how much fun we always had together, even if we were just sitting around your kitchen table. Cathy, you were more to me then my cousin, you were my best friend and sister. I am lost right now not hearing you say "Hi Metti" when You answered the phone. You called me that nickname forever. Aunt Cathy (Cash) I miss you very much. I remember when I was little and you used to take me on my school vacations and during the Summer. I used to have the best time. We used to go shopping and get Burger King and do all sorts of arts and crafts. I remember we used to laugh so much when we watched the movie Weekend At Bernie´s and you knew every word to Sir Mix A-lots - Big Butts song lol
