Catherine M. Dupre

Catherine M. Dupre, 90, beloved wife, mother, memere and friend passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Steere House in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Leo A. Dupre, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Mary G. (Wegiel) Birkbeck. Catherine was the loving mother of Leo A. Dupre, Jr. (Deborah), Marcel J. Lamontagne (Antoinette), Paul A. Dupre (Carol), Mary A. Hach (Stephen), and the late Diane A. Dabicci (Greg); loving memere of Keri, Matthew, Richard, Sarah, Jeannie, Donnie, and Alexandra. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Patricia Wood.
The loving wife of Leo for 71 years, Cathy always treasured her husband, family and friends.
Her love of crafting, sewing, quilting and creating special gifts for family and friends will always be cherished.
Cathy was very active and enjoyed bowling, shuffle boarding, being outdoors and gardening. She will be dearly missed by all.
Her visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10-11am with a service at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Steere House Nursing & Rehab Center, 100 Borden St., Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated.
