Catherine McKinley Durgun

Catherine (nee McKinley), passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022.
Cathie was a 1976 Grad of Darby-Colwyn High School. She worked many years at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital and Crozer Hospital. She was a dedicated member of Tinicum Swim Club and Board Member. She volunteered as Secretary and did most memberships.
Cathie loved people, the pool, calling and playing bingo, and was very helpful at all parties and get togethers. She was usually the life of the party. She always looked forward to Saint Patrick's Day weekend and Irish weekend celebrations every year for over 30 years.
Her biggest love was her family, especially her grandson Landon. She treasured every moment spent with him and talking to him; he was her heart.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents Eleanor (Pat), Edwin (Ted) Crossley, and William J. McKinley. Also, her Godchild, Brian McKinley.
Survived by her husband of 31 years Mustafa Durgun. Also, her children, Colleen Durgun (Melissa), Shawn Durgun, Ryan Durgun, and Chaz Durgun. Her very special loving grandson, Landon Durgun. Along with her siblings, Patricia Pastore (the late Joseph), William McKinley (Lisa), Margaret McGroarty (Patrick), Colleen Ryan (Keith Grantland), Edwin (Ted), Crossley (Dawn), Thomas Crossley, and Marianne Medzadourian (the late Vahe); her loving brother in law, John Durgun Plus, her Godparents, Dorothy Wadlinger (the late Harry Cusick); her Godchildren, Marianne Medzadourian, Michelle McQuerry, and Kristy McGroarty. Lastly, a very special cousin Linda Kinworthy, and many and many more cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Tuesday November 1 10:00 AM – 12:45 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the D'Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home 908 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA 19086. Interment Private.
