Catherine Ann Fraelich, 70, of Wooster, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Cathy was born September 17, 1953 in Wooster, Ohio to Sherman and Marjorie {Hahn} Fraelich.
She worked for the Daily Record Newspapers for 49 years. Cathy was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Ladies Sorority. She loved to read, going to movies, baking Christmas cookies for everyone she knew and spending time with her family. Cathy collected Santas and was known for her love of Christmas. To those closest to her, she was always known as “Cackey”.
Cathy will be deeply missed by her brother Alan (Cheryl) Fraelich; sister Jody (Rusty First) Miller; nephews Brad (Mindy) Fraelich and Jay Fraelich; nieces Bailey Miller and Kendell Miller and fur baby Missy.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and infant niece Dawn Michele Fraelich.
Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Catherine-Fraelich). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
