Patricia Ann Berenyi Schorle, 90, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 with her family by her side after a period of declining health.

Patricia was born August 7, 1935, in Barberton, Ohio to Andrew and Margaret {Filippi} Berenyi. She graduated from Doylestown High School in 1953. Patricia married Jimmie J. Schorle on September 8, 1956. He passed away May 25, 2005. She has been a resident of Rittman, Smithville and Wooster.

Patricia was employed by the J.R. Watkins company for 10 years before she embraced her greatest role as a stay-at-home mom with her precious daughter Pamela Lyn, which brought her immense pride and joy. She also worked for Doylestown Drug Store, Post House Restaurant, Yoder Brothers Greenhouse, Rohrer Corporation, Rittman Exempted Schools, Wayne County Election Board.

She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithville, where she served by sending cards through the Vesper Circle and participating in the prayer chain. Patricia formed many cherished friendships with her St. Paul family. Patricia loved traveling with Jimmie, spending time with friends, and connecting with her classmates. Some of her favorite moments were lunch outings and fun road trips with her daughter, Pam. Throughout her life, she was involved in several community and youth organizations, including serving as a Girl Scout Brownie Leader, participating in the Rittman Band Boosters, and the Rittman Junior Mothers Club. Patricia also enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, attending class and family reunions, and being outdoors—especially in the sunshine or at the beach. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends. She adored spending time with her two granddaughters and five great-grandsons, who called her GG.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Pamela L. (Joseph M.) Pollick, granddaughters Julianne Marie (Jeffrey) Feller and Angela Renee (Thomas) Hilty, great-grandsons Rhett and Cade Feller, Calem, Rayden, and Cohen Hilty, brother Andy Berenyi of Barberton, and sister-in law Jill Berenyi of Wadsworth, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patrcia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmie, brothers James and Frank Berenyi, sisters-in-law Nancy Schorle (Don) Simmons, Dawn, Jane, and Marilee Berenyi.

Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Kristy Buyok officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 777 S. Summit St, Smithville, OH 44677 or the Breakaway Ministry at Green Local Schools, PO Box 604, Smithville, OH 44677.
