Eleanor May Higgs, 90, of Wooster, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
Eleanor was born May 24, 1935 in Wooster to Angelo and Anna {Smolen} Pagniano. She attended Chester School and married Roy Higgs on February 14, 1952. He died previously.
Eleanor worked for Rubbermaid for 45 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Eleanor will be deeply missed by her children Steve (Gayle) Higgs and Vicki (Pat) Markley, all of Wooster; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother James (Kathy) Pagniano of Wooster.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, grandson Jason Markley, and brothers Peter and Edward Pagniano.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
