Catherine Grammatico

GRAMMATICO, Catherine (nee: Coniglio), 93 years old of Clinton Township, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born in Trapani, Sicily on September 3, 1931 to Giuseppe and Vincenza Coniglio. Catherine immigrated to the United States in 1950 after marrying her childhood sweetheart Cosimo. Catherine was an excellent seamstress; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Cosimo and is survived by her loving daughters Antonia McDonald (Glen) and Gina Smith (Roger); her grandchildren Jerry (Suzette), Christina (Matthew), Nicholas (Jennifer), Neil (Nichole) and Nathan (Dominique); and her great-grandchildren Tristan, Marchello, Gabriel, Juliana, Nico, Addison, Jackson, and Gianna. Also predeceased by her sisters Ellena Lazzarino and her husband Piedro and Maria Manuguerra and her husband Nino as well as her in-laws Mary Maggadino and her husband Jerry, Josephine Zannetti and her husband Joe, Pauline Montalabano and her husband Tony, and Joe Grammatico and his wife Anna. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights.
