Catherine M. Mebs (nee Jones)
On Sunday, January 15, 2023, Kathy age 92 passed away.
Catherine enjoyed volunteering at the Cherry Hill Hospital, and was active at several churches she attended. She was a bookkeeper and in her later years a school bus driver.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles Selby and Mary May (Reedy) Jones. Her husband of 55 years Charles Andrew Mebs, Sr. predeceased her in 2003. She is survived by her son Charles and his wife Patricia of Milton, FL; her daughter Constance Whitman and her husband William of Turnersville, NJ; and her son Edward and his fiancé Doris and his late wife Diane of Cape May, NJ. She was a loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Catherine was one of five children, Frederick and his wife Judith of Gilbertsville, KY and the late Charles, Estella, and Walter.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109 with a service beginning at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Arlington Cemetery (Mausoleum), Pennsauken, NJ.
